On Thursday Steve Harvey appeared on Dr. Phil’s show in his pimp suit, pimping his new book ‘Straight Talk, No Chaser’, which is a follow up to his best selling book ‘Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man’.

He appeared on the show with his new wife and gave advice to couples with problems. One man he advised to rub his woman down with baby oil. Hmmmm, wonder if Steve Harvey’s read the Soulful Vagina playbook.

I never watched Steve Harvey’s ex-wife, Mary Harvey, YouTube videos, in which she allegedly blasts Steve Harvey. But I did catch bits and pieces of the interview that she gave to Tom Joyner.


As a woman, I felt sorry for Mary Harvey, although I only have one side of a three-sided story. Steve’s side, Mary’s side and the truth.

So today it’s raining cats and dogs. It’s supposed to rain up to three inches. I asked my hubby (soon to be ex) to go get the cell phone that I left in my car. He wouldn’t. Now mind you if I wasn’t a little under the weather, I’d go get it. Anyway, he refused to get it. Now it’s time for bed and he wants to “lay up.” not a chance. I grabbed my SV spray and headed for the spare bedroom. I told him I was going to masturbate. He went beserk. Ladies nothing pisses your man off than if you tell them you are about to go masturbate. If they don’t kill you first, sneak off into a different room and groan and moan like your are fking the shit out of yourself. Nothing will piss your man off more.

Forgive the shitty unedited post, it’s raining, I’m tired.

I’ll never forget the first Sunday I made my way back to church after debuting my little booklet, “The Soulful Vagina playbook, the little book that gives women BIG ideas on how to masturbate.” on a local radio show. And there sat Mrs. Repressed in her Sunday’s best,  including a ridiculous Sunday hat, frowning at me. Her husband was delighted to tell all who would listen,  that he’d heard me on the radio talking about masturbation. On the word masturbation his wife looked at me as if she was gonna die. Of course this egged me on. I asked her, Mrs. Holier Than Thou, what the bible said about masturbation. I’d done my research and I knew that the bible didn’t give a clear scripture that tells if masturbation was right or wrong, but I wanted to get her uptight interpretation on the subject matter. I wanted her uptight lips, that have probably committed many unspeakable acts, to tell me what scriptures in the bible she believed to be an argument against masturbation.

Instead, she told me that she was unsure and would have to get back to me.

One year later she has yet to get back to me. Since writing the little booklet, and another one, titled, “the soulful vagina playbook, the little book that gives women big ides on how to celebrate. What “doing you” really means."  I’ve met so many uptight and repressed church women. Not Christians.

To be fair I’ve met way more liberated women who have enjoyed reading the booklet. But it’s the uptight and repressed women that get on my last nerves.
